Maintenance

  • Our product are made of functional, brand, modern materials which are needed to be cared of properly, so they keep their qualities as long as possible.
  • But you don't need to worry, maintenance is very easy, just follow these few steps.
  • You can even use the wasching maschine on a soft programm or wash manually.
  • We recommend to wash the membrane products separately and if possible separately.
  • If using a wasching machine, it is needed to remove everything from your pockets, do not forget about that. Please zip on the Velcros, they could have damage the material.
  • Please adhere to the instructions which are told by the producer, it is mostly 30°C. Do not hesitate on your subjective opinion in this matter.
  • Use suitable washing agens, preferably liquide, directly for these materials. We recommend and have the best experiences with the Fibretec PRO WASH.
  • Do not add any other additives such as bleacher or fabric conditioner.
  • After washing the laundry you need to drench it so even the little pieces of the washing agens are washed away from the fabric.
  • Do not wring the membrane products or do not try to get rid of the water by screwing the product anyhow.
  • The best way to dry the product is to hang it and let it dry with the classic room temperature. Do not dry on direct sun.
  • Do not leave the product folded in the backpack for a longer time then neccessary.

Impregnation – rainproofness refreshing

Altought all of our product has the longterm rainproof adjustment (SDWR), during the casual wearing of the product, mechanical weighting, influence of the rain – currently the situation is worse because of the acid rain. You can see the reduce of rainproofness by the fabric stopping making the drops and starting to soak into the fabric. So, after a long using of the product it is needed to be impregnated again, to work properly at its best.

We recommend adding the impregnation at the end of the washing process just spraying it all over the top layer of the product. You can buy suitable agens in all good outdoor shops, we have the best experiences with the Fibertec BLUE GUARD TEXTILE impregnation.
