Hybrid jacket with an ingenious combination of the best materials. The windproof and insulated front part of the new generation Polartec® Alpha insulation is complemented by an excellent merino wool knit on the sides, sleeves and back, which will impress you with its elasticity, comfort and warmth. The result is a jacket for active movement whenever you need an insulated and windproof front part while maintaining thermal comfort and excellent breathability in other parts of your body and arms. The jacket is ideal for ski mountaineering, hiking in the mountains or as an insulation layer under a waterproof hardshell.
The material manufacturer is certified in the bluesign® group and the material also has a OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 health certificate.
Tests and awards:
Stefan Moll, an editor of the prestigious German magazine Bergsteiger Magazin, has tested this jacket:
“The sweatshirt from High Point, the Czech specialist for mountain equipment, still relatively unknown in Germany, is intended for activities in the cold season. Such as ski mountaineering.
I really like the look. However, I was sceptical about functionality. The layer of merino wool on the sleeves and back seemed too warm. But I was wrong!
It works great. The combination of Polartec Aplha insulation layer and Pertex Quantum Air top material provides excellent protection against wind and cold and yet at the same time it is so breathable you will sweat at a moderate pace. Thumb holes are also very practical as they prevent sleeves from being rolled up.”
