Softshell
There are numbers of Softshell fabrics. The main difference in comparison with the known, traditional fleece material is in the surface treatment.
The "hairy" surface is replaced by a soft,water-repellent polyurethane surface that does not absorb raindrops so easily and snow does not stay on it .Thanks to its surface treatment SoftShell is wind-resistant even without the membrane. The inner material can be microfleece with warm versions, terry or jersey with light SoftShell. Other versions are with or without the membrane between the layers. Some other treatments above standard are possible.
